Join us for the Inaugural Glass Half Full Fest at City Roots Farm on Saturday, September 22, from 10:30AM to 10PM. This is an exciting new event for City Roots Farm and the surrounding Columbia Areas. It is an all day celebration of craft brews, southern cuisine, as well as eclectic live entertainment featuring National and Regional Acts. Headlining the Main Stage will be The Magpie Salute featuring the definitive Black Crowes guitar duo of Rich Robinson and Marc Ford, along with lead singer John Hogg (Hookah Brown, Moke), bassist Sven Pipien (also from the Crowes), keyboardist Matt Slocum, and drummer Joe Magistro. Other acts include Keller Williams with More Than A Little, The Movement performing 2 sets, Eric Gales, Simplified, The Mantras performing two sets including a special Beastie Boys set, Cosmic Charlie (High Energy Grateful Dead), Josh Roberts and the Hinges performing 2 sets, Kozelski Band, Cletus Baltimore and Truckstop Preachers.
High-Entertainment is teaming up with Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands to raise money and awareness for its services. One of 15 rape crisis centers in South Carolina, STSM advocates for and supports survivors of sexual assault and abuse in Richland, Lexington, Newberry, Clarendon, and Sumter counties and educates the community to identify and prevent sexual violence.
The Glass Half Full Fest is taking place on the first urban farm in South Carolina, City Roots Farm in Columbia. City Roots Farm is not only located in the heart of Columbia, and known for growing great food for locally owned restaurants, they also promote sustainable living through food, education and events. However, the GHFF will be the first of this magnitude to take place at this locally owned venue.
