Join us for a tribal inspired painting on pottery.
Warli painting is a style of tribal art mostly created by the tribal people from the North Sahyadri Range in India. These rudimentary paintings use a set of basic geometric shapes: circle, triangle, and square. These shape are symbolic of different elements of nature. You’ll be using this style to decorate a piece of pottery. The instructor, Jugnu Verma, is an Indian folk artist from India.
Registration fee of $40 is due by August 10. Fee included instruction, all supplies and materials, and operating costs. Class size limited to minimum of 3 and maximum of 12.
