If you’ve NEVER painted, or even if you’ve had A FEW classes, but want to explore your own style and subject matter, this class is FOR YOU. Each week, Barbie will demonstrate and simplify how to use various techniques and supplies for starting your own paintings on Canvas, Wood, Pastel board, or Masonite. Acrylic paint options such as Heavy Body or Fluid Acrylics, and Acrylic Mediums will be discussed. And, she will talk about how to compose a painting using your own photos including how to mix colors, creating a focal point, creating textures, etc. Ways to paint Landscapes, Flowers, Water, Skies, Skin Tones and more will be demoed. And, instruction will be given pertaining to your individual paintings and needs. Bring your photo samples on your phone, tablet or photo copies. And, Barbie will have samples of how she interpreted photos to create paintings.
