Couture as a reaction to the ecological movement, ecoFab Trash Couture is an fashion show and art exhibit, showcasing upcycled and repurposed materials.
Upcycled, repurposed and found materials are used to create elaborate detailed couture designs. The purpose of the show is to focus on ways to reverse throw-away culture by giving new precious life to discarded items by turning them into art.
Tapp’s Arts Center will be turned into an interactive environment featuring the 2-D, 3-D, and wearable art of each of the participating artists. The reception begins at 7:00pm with live musical performances, and the fashion show starts at 8:00pm sharp. It is followed by a party until 10:00pm.
