Learn the basics of working with kilns with electronic controllers.
This is a one day workshop for those who wish to learn about kilns with electronic controllers. The workshop covers (1) loading greenware for bisque firing at cone 04 and glazed ware firing at cones 5/6; (2) programming controllers for pre-set programs and custom programs’ (3) making, placement, and evaluation of cone packs; and (4) trouble shooting causes of over firing and under firing. Tim Graham, instructor, will provide handouts to accompany the workshop. Registration fee of $40 includes instruction, handouts and operating costs. Contact us to register.
