From contemporary to abstract forms of nature her original paintings and mixed media works are multilayered images. Designed to show the fragility and instability of our seemingly certain reality her art captures emotional connections to human events and the natural world. By exploring the concept of form and fauna in a contemplative way she creates functional art to provide audience to sit and ponder her work at gallery exhibits.
Alexandra holds multiple degrees including graphic design, BFA in Fine Art, MAT in Art Therapy. She has won numerous honors for her unique style and is an advocate for artists. She teaches therapeutic acrylic classes and works as coordinator for the South Carolina Artists group.
Through SCA she mentors emerging artists with life learned skills in the professional exhibition processes. In 2016 she was asked to revamp the Rosewood Art & Music Festival as the Visual Arts Coordinator. Breathing in new life to the annual festival and creating a special Juried Show Gallery that awards thousands to regional artists.
Abstract Alexandra exhibits throughout the United States and creates masterworks in her studio based in Lexington, SC, USA.
