About Crooked Creek Art League
Crooked Creek Art League (CCAL) is located in Chapin, South Carolina. Its more than 150 members, from Chapin and the surrounding communities, include painters of all mediums, photographers, sculptors and mixed media artists. All are welcome. CCAL is chartered as a charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of federal tax law. As, a dynamic non-profit organization, CCAL depends on its members, business partners and donors to help it continue to grow the visual arts in our area in many varied ways. The league provides on-location art exhibits at local businesses, associate juror training and workshops. It also hosts one of the largest juried art shows in the midlands each year. Founded in 1995, the mission of the Crooked Creek Art League has been to grow awareness of the visual arts in our communities while providing inspiration and recognition for existing and aspiring artists. At each month's regular meeting* we host an interesting and informative presenter on a wide range of artistic media and topic. In addition, we host a number of hands on instructional workshops each year taught by great instructors from across the southeast. We also host a Christmas Party and an End of Year Party each year which are a lot of fun. Our biggest event each year is our Annual Juried Show and Sale. Please join us at some of our great events!
