Jasper Magazine

Jasper Magazine is a locally owned and communally operated magazine devoted to spotlighting, honoring, and growing the Columbia, SC arts community. We believe that the best way to grow a sustainable arts community is by encouraging a multidisciplinary approach to arts patronage. 

That’s why you’ll see articles in Jasper on ALL the arts disciplines — visual arts, dance, music, theatre, literary arts, photography, and film. We are particularly proud of the experts from the Columbia area who have joined us as magazine editors to help us accomplish our mission of growing and celebrating the Greater Columbia Arts Community: Chris Robinson, Kyle Petersen, Wade Sellers, Kristine Hartvigsen, Bonnie Boiter-Jolley, Forrest Clonts, Ed Madden, August Krickel, and Cindi Boiter.

Jasper Magazine is released in the middle of every other month and each release is celebrated with a large party at which a variety of artists perform and share their talent. The release events are free and open to the public. Come and join us and become a part of this growing body of arts lovers, supporters, practitioners, and experts — become a part of the Jasper Family!
