April Pauza is an interdisciplinary artist and professor who's sculptural and installation-based practice draws deeply from her southern upbringing and lived experiences of womanhood. Working with found and domestic materials—such as tchotchkes, picture plates, silk flowers, and other kitsch objects—she constructs maximalist, campy environments that unravel ideals surrounding domestic labor and the home.
