Students will explore how composition, color harmony, and textural techniques can transform a reference photo into expressive paintings. We will experiment with wet and dry techniques to achieve mood and interest while discovering the versatile range of soft pastels.

Beth is also offering for up to 6 people to not purchase pastels and use hers for the workshop, which is a great opportunity for people who want to try the medium without the large investment, at an additional cost of $35 plus processing fee for total of $36.77.
Pastel kits will be available for the first 6 individuals.
