The SCETV STEAM Camp: Dream, Design, Develop is a four-day immersive experience for middle school students that blends engineering, creativity, and digital media production.
Students begin by dreaming—identifying real-world problems and imagining innovative solutions. They then move into design, using the engineering design process to brainstorm, plan, and prototype. Finally, they develop their ideas through testing, iteration, and refinement.
Throughout the camp, participants work alongside professional engineers and educators while documenting their journey through video production. The experience culminates in a final showcase where students present both their engineered solutions and original media projects.
