ARTIST STATEMENT
This class is designed for the beginning or novice painter. Instruction will include a basic introduction to the materials of watercolor and how to use them. Students will understand the various methods of applying paint, the differences in types of watercolor paper, and how to select the best brushes, and complete a simple watercolor or maybe two.
If you feel anxious about venturing into this medium, this is the place for you. Anne is a caring instructor who will work to build your skills in a non-threatening and non-critical way.
Bring your materials if you like, but all materials will be provided.
She has taught private and group classes exclusively in watercolor since 1984 and continues to be a popular and favorite instructor in many venues.
