Created by CEO & Artistic Director William Starrett, this sizzling adaptation of Bram Stoker’s classic novel blends seductive choreography with a hauntingly beautiful score, creating an unforgettable experience. Since its electrifying premiere in 1991, Dracula: Ballet with a Bite has captivated audiences nationwide. This year marks the 33rd production of this spellbinding gothic romance. Starrett assures that each performance season brings new surprises and says, “Even if you’ve seen the ballet before, you never know what’s new in our bag of tricks and treats.” This season, the ballet will feature new backdrops, custom-made to enhance the production. Dance Magazine hails the production as an “entertaining extravaganza that guarantees the audience a good time.” Experience why this Halloween spectacular has thrilled audiences for over three decades. “Dracula is more than just a story”, says Starrett. “It’s an invitation to explore the depths of desire and danger.” The ballet features an original rock/jazz score composed by Thomas E. Semanski, celebrated for his ballet compositions, including Dracula: Ballet with a Bite, Beauty and the Beast, Frankenstein, and Dracula’s Revenge. Semanski received the Popular Music Award from the American Society of Composers for his work on Dracula: Ballet with a Bite. His powerfully expressive music enhances the ballet’s seductive chills and thrills. The performance promises dazzling visuals, striking theatrical imagery, evocative lighting, special effects, and atmospheric sets, presenting a feast for the eyes. Through the artistic direction and choreography of William Starrett, the ballet will transport you into a world where love and darkness collide. Parental Guidance is Advised.
