This 6-week class is designed for those that would like to expand their existing knowledge of basic throwing. The curriculum is tailored to the needs of the class. Opportunities provided for knowledge of basic pottery terms, preparing clay for throwing, pulling walls, and creating basic cylinder, proper techniques and skills for trimming, basics of glazing completed projects, and expanding knowledge of throwing in a flexible environment. Students need to be able to center and open clay. Students must also have their own pottery tools. (Tool kits are available at the Art Center for $10.) Minimum of 3 students Max of 6.
