Join USC art and medical students and faculty for 90-minute interactive workshops exploring how close observation and creative practice strengthen empathy, communication, and collaboration. Through Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS), back-to-back drawing, poetry, movement, and perspective exercises, participants will practice slowing down, noticing deeply, and co-constructing meaning. These art-based approaches enhance clinical insight, studio critique, and team dialogue. No prior art or medical expertise required- just curiosity. Come experience how looking carefully and listening actively can transform the way we learn, create, and care.
