Join us for a free evening celebrating the artists, makers, and neighbors who bring contemporary metalsmithing to life. This is your chance to kick off a truly special exhibition in good company — with great conversation all around, and extraordinary handcrafted work filling the room. Whether you're a longtime supporter of 701 CCA or joining us for the first time, we'd love to have you there.
Be among the first to experience our new survey of contemporary metal — works shaped by fire, hammer, and imagination from some of the most exciting metalsmiths working in the United States today. From forged chef's knives to jewelry crafted from fine silver and enamel, the range of work on view is as surprising as it is beautiful. Bring a friend, explore the gallery at your own pace, and share the evening with a community that loves handmade work as much as you do.
