100 hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh

The Himalayan Yog Ashram in Rishikesh, India, offers a shortened 11-day, 10-night curriculum called the 100 Hours Yoga Teacher Training. This short TTC program is designed for those who want to learn the yogic disciplines in a systematic, thorough way. The course covers the basics for those who have never done yoga before or have merely been doing it as a hobby. Our school aims to integrate the foundations of yoga studies with a breadth of practice and understanding. By combining body, mind, and breath practices, the curriculum seeks to give students a thorough yoga education that will support their spiritual and personal growth. The course addresses the fundamental concepts of yoga by emphasizing important issues such comprises the philosophy of yoga, anatomy, yoga nidra, pranayama, shat kriya, asana exercises, meditation, and relaxation methods. Every week, students will work out for six days and then take one day off. On this day off, our school plans a half-day excursion for the children, which may include a trip to one of Rishikesh's sacred sites. The rest day, which usually falls on a Sunday, might be shifted to a weekday in order to escape the traffic and crowds that Rishikesh experiences during the busiest season.
