Worlds of Creativity - How Islam Influences Art

Join us for the Columbia Art Center’s Worlds of Creativity on Thursday March 7 from 6-8 pm. “How Islam Influences Art” is the second in the series for 2019. This is a family friendly event from 6 to 8 pm. Explore the rich history of art in Islamic societies, and see the passion and creativity of modern Muslim artists. Food and Snacks will be available. Presentation will include featured artists, henna station, interactive crafts, recitation and performances and textiles, clothing, poetry, and painting. Free admission. Bring your family and enjoy another great cultural experience through the arts. Will be held at 1227 Taylor Street.
