WATCH PAINT with OSAMU KOBAYASHI

 On Thursday, December 11, New York abstract artist Osamu Kobayashi will exhibit his works at Vista Studios Gallery 80808 in Columbia SC. Kobayashi creates large careful works involving thick applications of paint that are equal parts color field, hard-edged abstraction, and abstract landscape. This is a rare opportunity to see paintings by a celebrated emerging artist whose work spans the artworld, including hip independent curatioral projects in Brooklyn, institutional exhibitions like a recent display at the State University of New York Stony Brook, and contemporary art fairs across the United States and Europe.
