USC Wind Ensemble Concert

USC’s premier wind ensemble features guest conductor, Xiao Ming and trombonist Liu Yang for this special concert. Maestro Xiao is the conductor and music director of the Hunan Symphony Orchestra in Changsha, China. Mr. Liu is the principal trombone in the National Symphony Orchestra of China in Beijing and the chair of the department of brass at the Central Conservatory of Music. The program features works by Richard Strauss, Hector Berlioz, Giuseppe Verdi and Ferdinand David.
