UPTOWN SATURDAY NIGHT is a groovy journey back to the Era of Funk & Disco themed night experience.  Featuring an eclectic blend of the classic hits of Funk, Disco & House music mixed and scratched by the incomparable DJ TONY GRAY in the culturally rich, Fountain Room, downstairs of the Tapp's Arts Center the heart of Downtown Columbia on Main Street.  This venue has a spacious dancefloor with great acoustics that allow the music to fill the room and not your ears.  A cash bar with a variety of beer & wines is available.  Come with your (platform) dancing shoes on and your best groovy attire to join PRIMO as DJ TONY GRAY mixes classic music from the Funk Era!  CAN YOU DIG IT … MAN?

DJ TONY GRAY is a renowned professional DJ from Newark, New Jersey.  He has performed for vast audiences in many cities around the United States and Germany in a variety of styles, as FADE II GRAY ENTERTAINMENT.  He specializes in House Music mixing, the best in the 70's, the Classics and Old School hits of many decades.  His mixing skills are known to be among the best in the country.  Locally, he has help to pioneer HOUSE IN THE SOUTH, HOUSE THERAPY & PRIMO ENTERTAINMENT GROUP.  He is the resident DJ for PRIMO.  He can be seen weekly performing every Thursday at the newly debuted SENSATIONS RESTAURANT & LOUNGE in NE Columbia with his former HITS group member, DJ Prince Ice.  He is a retired law enforcement official and the owner and sound engineer for www.SimplySoundSolutions.net, the sound enforcement specialist.
