Trenholm Artists Guild Spring Show

The Trenholm Artists Guild’s 39th Spring Juried Exhibit will be held from March 2 through April 29, at Best Mattress, 2930 Devine Street, Columbia, SC.

Rock Hill artist Tom Stanley http://www.tomstanleyart.com/bio will judge the show. Awards will be presented at the opening reception on Friday, March 6, 6-8 PM with the awards ceremony at 7:15. The public is invited.

The show will include approximately seventy two- and three-dimensional art pieces created by many renowned midlands-area artists. Rachel Myer’s acrylic piece, “Beautiful Day,” won the 38th annual Best of Show award. Other recent top award winners of TAG’s juried shows are Rachel Myers, Joong Bae Kim, Dale Bishop, Patty Gamburg, and Mark Conrardy.

Trenholm Artists Guild, also known as TAG, has a membership of over 150. The group includes both amateur and professional artists who work in all media.

Established in 1971, TAG is an incorporated, non-profit organization located in Columbia, South Carolina.  It is designated an IRS 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization.

TAG was created to encourage and stimulate the practice and appreciation of the creative arts among the people living in the midlands of South Carolina. To achieve this goal, TAG works cooperatively with other groups to help build audiences and participation in the arts.
