A discussion and showcase of Sea Grass Basketmaking within the cultural context of South Carolina, located on McKissick Museums’ second floor. There will be a book signing for Row Upon Row: Sea Grass Baskets of the South Carolina Lowcountry.
Antwon Ford and Dr. Dale Rosengarten will bring life and nuance to the world of Sea Grass Basketmaking in their lively discussion of the art and its profound influence in South Carolinas’ Lowcountry. This will be followed by a book signing of Dr. Rosengartens’ book, Row Upon Row: Sea Grass Baskets of the South Carolina Lowcountry.
