Summer Camp: Session 1- Mosaic Madness

Students will learn the process for making a successful mosaic using glass, tile and various found objects. The class will explore the history and contemporary process of mosaics and at the end of the session, each student will produce one or two final mosaic masterpieces.

Instructor: Kevin Pettit received his BFA from Winthrop University in 1991 and his Masters of Arts in Teaching from the USC in 2000. He currently teaches visual arts at Irmo High School and previously taught at Mid Carolina Middle School. Mr. Pettit is a National Board Certified teacher and a semi-pro musician.
