Silver in the Garden

Dawn Corley, known as the “Charleston Silver Lady,” will lead two garden-themed silver programs from 2 – 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14.  The program will feature five exquisite tabletops, including garden and floral-themed pieces, from Corley’s extensive collection of silver, porcelain and china.  Corley will explore the history of these pieces, how they were produced, and how to identify them and their value. The program will also feature natural decoration techniques and guests are invited to bring a piece from their own collection for Corley to examine. Decadent refreshments and a bourbon punch will be served. Tickets are $40 for the public and $32 for museum members. Visit scmuseum.org to purchase tickets.
