Shaggin’ on Main

Capital City Shag Club and Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin invite you to Shaggin’ on Main on September 10. This event celebrates the South Carolina State Dance — The Shag and State Music — Beach Music. Meet us at the corner of Main and Hampton for a fun-filled day with the family. Admission is free to all.  Deejays will be playing shag music throughou the afternoon. Free shag and line dance  lesson in the Marriott from 2:00 to 5:00 PM and an amateur shag contest at 4:00 PM. The fun continues in the Marriott starting at 5:00 PM. Enjoy delicious food and beveerages and then stay and enjoy the fabulous, award winning Sensational Epics band from 6:00 to 10:00 PM.
