Sculpture Days - Instruction by Laureatte Kirkland

This 6–week course is suitable for anyone ages 15 years or older who would like to take a sculpture course. Students must have completed a basic course in hand building with pottery or have prior experience. The class will cover some of the techniques used in sculpture – basic building of pieces, adding details, working with a bust, and proper techniques for preparing pieces for firing including proper venting. Minimum number of students is (3) and maximum number is (8). Class runs on Thursdays from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. $90 registration fee covers instruction and materials.
