Sculpture - Artistic Impressions

Sculpture provides an outlet for the artist to express themselves through caricatures, animals, statues and a variety of creative object.    This course is perfect for those who have been completed basic hand building or have prior pottery experience. The 6 week course covers building forms or figures; adding details, working with a bust including facial features and proper techniques for preparing pieces for firing.  Students will need their own tools.  Clay and glazes are provided.  Class meets for 6 weeks on Thursdays 1 to 3 pm.   Class size limited to 5 minimum and 10 maximum.  Registration fee of $90 for the 6 week sessions is due prior to the class meeting.  For more information contact Brenda Oliver at bloliver@columbiasc.net
