Remembering Columbia Series and Book Signing

Building on the success of his new book, Remembering Columbia, HC’s Director of Cultural Resources John Sherrer revises his four part speaking series to guide us through a visual road map of the Columbia’s past to present. These discussions will explore materials not covered in the September series.  Drawn from a rich collection of private and institutional archives, the images we’ll examine during this lecture series trace over 150 years of our city’s history. Using historic photographs as a vehicle to discover stories of Columbia and Richland County, Sherrer will lead participants through conversations and activities that explore Columbia’s past.
