Punch & Rudy: McKissick Museum's 2018 Gala

Join McKissick Museum on Thursday, September 27th for a wonderful evening of music, food, and dancing as we celebrate our year of pottery themed exhibitions. Beginning at 6:30 pm at McKissick Museum, guests will be immersed in the craftsmanship of 2 phenomenal exhibitions: “Place It/Face It: Pottery by Eugene” and “Swag & Tassel: The Innovative Stoneware of Thomas Chandler”. At 7:30pm, the evening will continue over to the historic President’s House, complete with a special menu inspired by the southern culinary research of David Shields, music by local favorites Nick Brewer, David Levray and Tony Lee, and a silent auction. Silent auction items include ceramic punch bowls, unique experiences, and artist-decorated masks. This special evening provides McKissick with critical funding for the Rudy Mancke Curator of Natural History Endowment, established in 2016 with the goal of supporting a fulltime Curator of Natural History for the Museum.
