Project Opera Camp Informational Meeting

PROJECT OPERA CAMP INFORMATIONAL MEETING | JUNE 30TH, 6 PM

Join Project Opera Camp staff and performing artists to learn more about Project Opera Camp’s upcoming Summer Program!

Do you know a high school student in Columbia, SC who might benefit from Project Opera Camp’s upcoming TUITION-FREE summer music program (July 20th – July 31st, 2015)?  If so, please help us spread the word.  Our roster is filling up, but there are still spaces available.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

A student must either:

a) currently attend a public school with a high percentage of its attendees on free or reduced lunch; or

b) currently participate in a community organization committed to empowering at-risk youth; or

c) demonstrate a history of economic hardship.

When:  Tuesday, June 30th – 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Where:  USC School of Music, room 040 (813 Assembly Street in downtown Columbia, SC 29201; adjacent to the Koger Center for the Arts)

What & Who:  This is a brief informational meeting to inform parents, teachers, and community leaders of Project Opera Camp opportunities for their students.  Students who are curious in participating are encouraged to attend this informational meeting.

Following the meeting, there will be an opportunity for students to sign up for Project Opera Camp’s upcoming Summer Program (July 20th – July 31st, 2015).  For more information on the upcoming Summer Program, click here.  Parents will also have an opportunity to complete the necessary paperwork for enrollment at this meeting.
