Preservation Workshop: Painting Tips and Know How

Co-hosted by Sean Stucker, HC’s director of facilities, and Charlie Flake of Palmetto Decorators – who brings with him decades of knowledge and experience as a professional painter – this workshop will explore the different facets of painting, from choosing the right paint for your historic home’s materials to best practices for prepping surfaces and applying paints and primers. Guests will have a chance to ask questions and to see demonstrations of techniques and methods, including faux paint applications. Light refreshments will be provided. Space is limited.
