Pottery Workshop for Children

Children of all ages can participate in a 3 hour pottery workshop and become exposed to the world of working with clay. Each workshop is divided by apropriate age levels and will expose children to both hand building and working with a pottery wheel. The goal of this workshop is to interest children in the wonders of pottery and ceramics. Each participant will have at least one completed project to their credit. There is a minimum of 3 and maximum of 12 in each session. Registration fee per student is $35 and pays for all materials and supplies. Workshop will be held at Columbia Art Center, 1928 Calhoun Street, Columbia SC. Children ages 5-9 will meet from 10 am – 1 pm and Children ages 10-16 will meet 1:30-4:30 pm.
