Plaster Press and Sprig Molds - Three Day Workshop

Learn how to make and use plaster press, and sprig molds to create interesting services on slab built forms. Students will learn how to mix and pour plaster; carve designs using a variety of tools and use in the design and construction of a slab box. Supplies will be provided. Skill level: Beginner to Intermediate. Session 1: Design stamp, carve, roll out slab; Session 2: Construct box; Session 3: Glaze.
Registration fee of $45 includes all instruction, supplies, materials and operating costs. Class size limited to minimum of (3) and maximum of (10). Instruction by Angel Allen. Workshop meets on Tuesday 6-8 pm.
