Plarn Crocheting - One Day workshop

Learn how to crochet “plarn” (plastic yarn) to create portable sleeping mats for the homeless as part of Operation Bedroll. Materials will be provided. Students will need to bring a size “Q” crochet hook. This is part of a collaborative effort to provide portable sleeping mats to the almost 200 chronically homeless in the Midlands Area. Come and enjoy learning while doing something worthwhile to give back to the community. Class size limited to minimum of (3) and maximum of (15). Class will be held on Wednesday September 18 6-8 pm at the Columbia Art Center, 1227 Taylor Street., Columbia SC.  Additional dates will be Monday October 21; Wednesday November 13 and December 9.
