Dr. Sarbani Basu is a solar physicist and chair of the Department of Astronomy at Yale University (New Haven, CT).  She will visit Columbia, SC on the weekend preceding the total solar eclipse of 2017, to give a public lecture on the USC Columbia campus at the W.W.
