McKissick Presents Treme

Starting Tuesday, February 20th, McKissick will host weekly screenings of the acclaimed HBO series, Treme, Season One. Each screening will include a talkback led by faculty from USC, Claflin University and Denmark Technical College, including Rudy Mancke, USC Naturalist in Residence, Dr. Alison Mc Letchie, and Dr. Conor Harrison, among others. Held in conjunction with the exhibit “WELL SUITED: The Costumes of Alonzo V. Wilson for HBO’s® Treme“, currently on display at McKissick Museum. The exhibit will be on view 30 minutes before each screening. Treme costume designer Alonzo V. Wilson will be joining us for one screening. Visitors who attend 5 or more screenings will be entered into a drawing to win a goody bag full of Treme gear. Please note that Treme is rated TV-MA and is specifically designed to be viewed by adults and therefore may be unsuitable for children under 17.
