Making Faces: Learning About & Making Stoneware Face Jugs

Learn about the history of face jugs as well as step-by-step instructions on how to make them.

Learn about the history of face jugs as well as step-by-step instructions on how to model and attach facial features to your jug. Participants will learn techniques employed by folk potters as well as more modern methods. Leather- hard clay jugs will be provided.
