LOOK! Photography Exhibit

Richland Library welcomes LOOK! Photography Exhibit in partnership with the Family Connection of South Carolina. Join Richland Library Main (1431 Assembly Street, 29201) on Saturday, July 23 for the launch of the collection offering a glimpse into the lives of children and youth who have a disability or chronic health condition.

The intent of LOOK! is to highlight the abilities of the person being photographed and to help those viewing the photos to pause, reflect and see disability in a different way. To create the exhibit, professional photographers from across the state volunteered their time to host photo sessions with more than 60 families who have been impacted by childhood disability or chronic illness.

Customers can visit Richland Library Main to view the inspiring and diverse collection of photos of children from around the state from July 23 through Friday, September 16.
