Look! Forward Photography Exhibit

Family Connection will host the LOOK! photography exhibit in the Midlands for the first time this year. The opening event will be held on Saturday, April 8 but the photos will remain on display at the Tapp’s Arts Center on Main Street in downtown Columbia for the entire month.

Family Connection developed the LOOK! project in 2013, in response to often heard comments from the families we serve. “I wish that the world would really SEE my child and not just their disability!”

This year, “Look! Forward,” will showcase the beauty and strength of children, teens and young adults who are living full lives despite their disability or special healthcare need. The photos will truly capture the personalities and strength of those featured, allowing others to easily connect and see them with their hearts.
