Lasting Impressions at 80808

Lasting Impressions @ 80808 is a exhibition of mixed media printmaking and handmade books by artists Grace Rockafellow, Claire Farrell and Cynthia Colbert. Grace and Claire are are experimental printmakers who combine a wide variety of techniques in creating one-of-a kind works of art. Cynthia is an accomplished artist and professor at the University of South Carolina whose current interest is the creation of unique handmade books. The exhibition will be held from October 8 to 19, 2015 at Gallery 80808 in the Vista Studios, 808 Lady Street. An opening reception will be hosted by the artists on October 9 from 5 – 8 PM. Visitors to the exhibition will be invited to try their hand at printmaking on Third Thursday in the Vista, October 15 from 5 to 7 PM.
