Home School Pottery Classes

The Columbia Art Center is offering Monday classes for home school students  during the 2019 commencing in the months of February, April, August and October.  Students will learn skills that they will be able to use long after the classes are over.

Ages 5-9 will have a pottery and mixed media class.  They will work with multiple mediums including clay.  Basic drawing skills and color theory will also be taught.

Ages 10+ will learn basic pottery terms and techniques.  This is a pottery only session for the older children.  They will create a hand building project and get some experience with the wheel.

The $60 registration fee covers all materials, instruction and operational costs for all of the sessions.

Minimum students in class will be 3 and maximum will be 12.
