Home School Pottery Classes

The Columbia Art Center is offering Monday classes for home school students four sessions in 2019 during the months of February, April, August and October.  These 4 week classes will teach students the basics of art that they will be able to use long after the classes are over.

Ages 5-9 will have a pottery and mixed media class.  They will work with multiple mediums including clay.  Basic drawing skills and color theory will also be taught.

Ages 10+ will learn basic pottery terms and techniques.  This is a pottery only session for the older children.  They will create a hand building project and get some experience with the wheel.

The $60 registration fee covers all materials, instruction and operational costs for all of the sessions.

Minimum students in class will be 3 and maximum will be 12.
