HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BACH!

Palmetto Chamber Orchestra presents a new program, “Happy Birthday, Bach!” – a celebration of the 256th birthday of one of the finest composers without whom Classical music would not possibly have existed. The program is fun and accessible to everyone regardless of age and background. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto #1 is always great fun not only to perform but also to listen to; guest artists Patrick Hawkins, Kevin Davis, Jeff Clearman, organ, will perform selections from The Art of Fugue. Jonathan Evans, Soloist, will present Bottesini’s Bass Concerto #2 in B minor, and “Jesse Keiser  Ensemble” will make its official debut.
