Free to Be Me Poetry Slam

Come out and experience poets and inspiring poets compete for $500 in our Free To Be Me Poetry Slam. This event will be our kick off to our youth poetry slam league. We are looking to introduce our youth to one of the most compelling, inspiring and forgotten arts out there.

Open mic is from 6pm – 7pm. Doors Open at 5:30.. This event is 100% Free to attend, we are only looking for donations to support our youth poetry league. We encourage you to bring out youth between the ages of 14 – 22 to experience a great night of fun, live music and spoken words.

Free To Be Me Poetry Slam was created by G.O.O.D. Kids Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization that was founded in 2007. G.O.O.D. Kids Inc. mentor youth through sports and creative arts why focusing on Keeping Our Youth H.E.A.D.S. (Health, Education, Attitude, Determination and Self Esteem) Up.
