Extraordinary Imagination: Nellie Bly Interviews Jules Verne

Richland Library Literary Resident Howard Burnham portrays author Jules Verne, being interviewed toward the end of his life by journalist Nellie Bly as she attempts to beat his Phileas Fogg’s 80-day record for a round-the-world trip. He recounts a life only slightly less extraordinary than his books. In celebration of the sesquicentennial of Verne’s prophetic novel From the Earth to the Moon.
