Educator Workshop: The Art of Mindfulness

There is a growing call to incorporate practices of mindfulness in the classroom. This workshop examines the intersection of art-making and mindful practices that can benefit teachers and students in any classroom. Learn exercises that can build empathy and encourage students to better understand their thoughts and actions, particularly through challenging times. Registration fee includes gallery admission, lunch, and one Art of Mindfulness digital toolkit. Participants earn seven hours of professional renewal credit. Capacity limited to 10 participants to allow for physical distancing in the CMA studios; face coverings are required.
