Disney's NEWSIES at Town Theatre *EXTRA SHOW ADDED*

**Due to popular demand, an extra show has been added on Saturday, March 16 at 3:00pm!!**

Meet Jack Kelly, a newsboy who dreams of life away from the big city. When Jack and his fellow newsies face publishing giant Joseph Pulitzer’s plan to raise prices at the newsboys’ expense, they decide it is time to act and seize the day. Based on the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899, this Disney musical has it all – high-energy dance, strong vocals and an engaging score.

The show runs March 1-17, 2019 and will be directed by Jamie Carr Harrington, with musical direction by Augie Gil and choreography by Katie Hilliger.

Show times are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 PM and Sundays at 3:00 PM. Tickets will be available online at towntheatre.com beginning February 22 or through the box office at 803-799-2510. Box office hours are Mon – Fri 12 noon – 5 PM.
