Students will learn in these 2 sessions various techniques of glazing and how to avoid some problems.
This 2 session workshop focuses on the fundamentals of dipping, pouring and decorating with glazes. Students will also explore decoration possibilities with resist techniques, sponging, etching and more. We will discuss how to avoid glaze problems such as crawling and pin holes. Each participant should bring 2-3 pieces no large than 8 inches in any direction. Pieces should be of cone 5 or cone 6 stoneware clay. Minimum of 4 and maximum of 10 in class. Registration fee of $40.
