Historians state that Motanka dolls appeared in the Ukraine several thousand years ago. They are symbols of authenticity and feminine wisdom. The use of a needle is forbidden when making the Motanka. Only fabric folding and thread reeling are allowed for the Ukrainian national art form. Motanka serves as a decorative element of interior, and as such will definitely draw attention of your guests.
